Vanessa, LMHC providing bilingual therapy in English and Spanish

Vanessa is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor who takes a grounded, compassionate, and direct approach to therapy. Her work focuses on helping clients build awareness, develop effective coping strategies, and create meaningful, lasting change in their day-to-day lives.

She draws from evidence-based approaches such as CBT, DBT, mindfulness, and motivational interviewing, with an emphasis on how past experiences shape present patterns and influence how clients respond to stress and relationships.

Vanessa has experience working with emotional dysregulation, addiction, trauma, and complex life stressors. She provides culturally responsive care and supports clients in building more stability, clarity, and confidence over time.

She also has experience working with police officers, first responders, and EMS, giving her a strong understanding of the unique pressures these roles carry and how they can impact both personal and professional life.

Nanette, MHC-LP

Works with teens & adults

Nanette, MHC-LP providing online therapy for adults in New York

Nanette is a Mental Health Counselor who works with adults who feel stuck being the responsible one, often managing others while losing touch with themselves. Her work focuses on helping clients understand their patterns and reconnect in a way that feels real, not performative.

Her approach integrates psychodynamic, somatic, and skills-based therapies, with an emphasis on understanding the “why,” how patterns show up in the body, and how to respond differently. Her style is grounded and direct, helping clients turn insight into lasting change.

Nanette has experience working with anxiety, people-pleasing, complex family dynamics, and forms of grief that are not always obvious. She helps clients move out of cycles of over-functioning and burnout.

She also has experience in crisis settings, legal systems, and other high-pressure environments, giving her a strong understanding of individuals who feel like they are constantly performing or holding everything together.
